Lo dominated the snatch with a 112kg lift and combined with 245kg.

Despite a shaky start in the clean and jerk, she managed a 128kg lift on her second attempt, securing fifth place.

Norway’s Solfrid Koanda took the gold with a 156kg lift.

Lo’s victory marks the third medal for Taiwanese women at this year’s championships.

Chen Guan-ling swept the 55kg category with a combined weight of 203kg, while Kuo Hsing-chun’s 130kg lift in the clean and jerk in the 59kg category tied for second best.

Lo’s triumph is a testament to the strength and determination of Taiwan’s female weightlifters.

As the dust settles on the championship, their victories serve as a beacon of inspiration for aspiring athletes worldwide.
