Fish oil contains lots of benefits for our body – like improving joint health and boosting the heart and brain health, but one of the most outrageous claims circulating the internet is that it could add a few inches on our glutes, too.

I spent hours researching whether fish oil makes the butts grow bigger, and here’s what I’ve found.

Quick Summary

  • Fish oil can give you a bigger but you have to combine it with butt workouts until you attain your desired results.
  • Lunges, jump squats, bridges, step-ups with a knee lift, one-leg kickbacks, and squats with arabesques are examples of butt workouts you can perform for a bigger butt.
  • Fish oil supplements can either be taken orally, or rubbed on the skin.

Can Fish Oil Make Your Butt Bigger?

Yes, fish oil pills may help you gain a bigger butt, but it doesn’t work as a magic pill.

To achieve a larger butt, you need to build more muscle and add more fat to your booty.

That’s where fish oils come in; the Omega 3 fatty acids may increase the fat storage, giving your buttocks a fuller and tighter shape.

However, you also need to do the work: exercise your glutes. Some exercises you may add for your butt workout include:

  • Squats
  • Squats with arabesques
  • Jump squats
  • Lunges
  • Bridges
  • One-leg kickbacks
  • Step-ups with a knee lift

Different Ways To Use Fish Oil

There are two ways to use this supplement.

Taking it orally

People often take fish oil capsules by mouth in lower doses, usually 3g daily. Research claims you can take it any time, either morning or evening, or you can split the pills into two doses to reduce the risk of acid reflux.

Rubbing it into the skin

Omega 3 fatty acids are said to be great for the hair, nails, and skin. It may increase hydration and prevent acne and eczema.  Some people rub fish oil products with added Vitamin E on their face, leave it for 30 minutes or longer to better absorb the solution. But, the question is: does rubbing it help you get a bigger butt?

It is not yet proven that rubbing cream that contains only fish oil helps buttocks growth. When the solution is applied topically, it may improve the skin surface but not your glutes.

Weight Gain

Enlargement of a body part may occur when there’s an increase in muscles or fat.

So, to gain fat in the buttocks, two things are needed: our bodies to gain weight and our genetics and other factors to allow fat to be stored in that specific body part.

When your body usually stores fat in the hips and glutes, more calories may cause you to gain weight.

For example, eating extra 3,500 calories helps you gain more pounds, and only then can it result in a butt growth of a few inches.

Fish Oil Supplements: Omega-3 Acids as Main Ingredients

Omega fatty acids, especially eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA), may reduce inflammation and keep the heart and brain healthy.

Omega 3 products are also said to increase muscle volume and strength to grow your butts [1].

Because of Omega 3s anti-inflammatory properties, it allows your body to engage more in the building process that will enable protein synthesis (making of proteins) to happen, helping you build more muscles and shorten your recovery time.

Eating food rich in Omega fatty acids in your diets combined with regular workouts may maximize the results. Eat a variety of foods rich in Omega essential fatty acids, including cold-water fatty fish, such as salmon, herring, mackerel, tuna, and sardines.

FAQs

Do Fish Oil Pills Cause Weight Gain?

Taking Omega 3 is recommended for people who want to lose weight because it speeds up metabolism; however, the opposite may also happen. Fish oils are high in fats and calories, so consuming too much of them in your diets may cause you to gain extra pounds.

Is It Good To Take Fish Oil Every Day?

Yes, experts recommend taking about 3g of this supplement daily. Check the labels to see how much DHA and EPA fatty acids it provides.

What Can I Apply to My Buttocks To Make Them Bigger?

Women have been applying olive oil, coconut oil, and fish oil to increase their bum. But there is yet research to prove that rubbing these oils works to enlarge the buttocks, although they may tighten it.

Can I Take Vitamin E and Fish Oil Together?

Yes, you can since some research suggests that taking these two together may produce better results because Vitamin E prevents Omega fats from oxidizing and going rancid. Vitamin E also reduces free radicals causing illness and aging, so find foods rich in Vitamin E such as almonds and include them in your meal plan.

Another research also reports that taking them together may support women who suffer from the pain of dysmenorrhea.

However, when it comes to whether taking Vitamin 3 and Omega fatty acids help grow the butt, there is no evidence for it yet.

Adding fish oil to your diet provides tons of nutrition because of its essential fatty acids, helping aid pain and swelling and improves our bodies' health.
